We are writing about the upcoming risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma in Victoria during grass pollen season (1 October – 31 December) and to request your assistance to raise awareness of the management of asthma and hay fever ahead of the coming season.

The Department of Health’s thunderstorm asthma public health campaign aims to ensure that all Victorians, and in particular people with asthma and/or hay fever, are as prepared as they can be should another epidemic thunderstorm asthma event occur.
